We support academic entrepreneurs
At DAIP, the Lower Silesian Academic Business Incubator, we support academic entrepreneurs, i.e. students, doctoral students, graduates and academics who are starting up businesses in research and development industries. As part of the incubation at DAIP, we create favourable conditions for the development of the companies they set up for 2 years. At DAIP, we focus on supporting the course of knowledge transfer from science to business. We build a development-friendly environment for companies and prepare them to function independently in the market. We promote academic entrepreneurship at universities so as to show that one’s own company provides an opportunity to commercialise research results in collaboration with WPT.
More than 150 companies have benefited from our support, operating in more than 15 industries, including IT, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, biochemistry, biotechnology or medicine, among others.

What do we do?
At DAIP, we focus on supporting the course of knowledge transfer from science to business. Our efforts are paying off! This is confirmed, among other things, by DAIP winning the title of Best Science Business Incubator in the Return on Public Investment category (Annual Incubation Awards 2013).
What does the DAIP offer?
Business Innovation Zone
We provide a space, both online and offline, where, in one place, representatives, experts from various offices and institutions from all over Poland, as well as WPT specialists, meet with an entrepreneur or person planning to set up a business in order to provide them with comprehensive, expert support in running and developing their business.

Thanks to the substantive and financial support received from the Incubator and WPT staff, Amplicon was able not only to emerge, but also to strengthen its position in the market.
